NYC Planning held a series of workshops through a partnership with youth development non-profit Brooklyn Boatworks to explore themes related to waterfront planning and urban planning with NYC middle school students. The ideas and feedback shared by the students helps to inspire the upcoming Comprehensive Waterfront Plan. This collaboration speaks to the importance of engaging all New Yorkers, especially students, in the planning process and discussions of the future of our city.
